About the Role This Fundraising Coordinator role is an exciting opportunity for someone ready to combine their fundraising, relationship building and organisational skills with a deep sense of purpose. You’ll support the Philanthropy and Partnerships team by helping prepare grant applications, craft partner communications, and coordinate events and campaigns that connect supporters to the heart of Variety’s mission. Day-to-Day Responsibilities Prepare and assist with grant and funding submissions Research on prospective trust foundation and fundraising partners Coordinate partner events, reports, and impact stories Develop engaging communications and stewardship activities for supporters Manage and maintain accurate CRM and funding records Collaborate across teams to gather data, photos, and stories that showcase impact Contribute ideas to improve donor experience and fundraising outcomes Assist as needed across other departments What You Bring Minimum 2 years’ experience in fundraising and/or relationship development Exceptional writing and storytelling skills with attention to detail Strong organisational and multitasking and prioritisation abilities Confident building relationships across diverse audiences Passionate about a long-term career in the fundraising industry Proactive, positive, and collaborative attitude CRM/database experience (e.g., Salesforce, Raiser’s Edge) highly regarded Experience in Not for Profit highly regarded although not essential Current Driver’s Licence and Working with Children Check (or ability to obtain) Our Values Integrity – We do what’s right for the kids and families we serve Collaboration – We succeed together Impact – We aim to change lives every day Compassion – We care deeply about what we do and who we help Why Work for Us?
