MacKillop Family Services is seeking a Head of Marketing and Communications to lead our national communications function and elevate the visibility of our life changing work across Australia. About the Role As Head of Marketing and Communications, you’ll lead MacKillop Family Services’ strategic marketing, digital, and corporate communications agenda. Reporting to the Director, Community Engagement, you’ll manage a team of specialists to build brand awareness, support the organisation’s 2020–2027 Strategic Plan, and deliver impactful, values aligned content across internal and external channels. You’ll oversee media relations, executive communications, digital strategy, and internal engagement, while driving best practice and brand consistency across the organisation. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement a multi-year marketing and communications strategy aligned with organisational priorities. Lead and mentor a team of communications professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration. Provide strategic advice to internal stakeholders and executive leaders on communications, media, and issues management. Oversee brand management across MacKillop and its sub-brands, ensuring consistency and alignment with our values. Manage internal communications channels, including the intranet and executive messaging. Drive digital engagement through social media, web, and content strategy. Represent MacKillop on sector committees and build strong relationships with external partners. About You You are a strategic thinker and collaborative leader with: 10 years’ experience in senior communications roles, including team leadership. Tertiary qualifications in communications, marketing, or a related field. Proven success in developing and executing integrated marketing and communications strategies. Strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills. A passion for storytelling and social impact. Experience in the community services sector (highly desirable).
