Based in Perth Offices Monday to Friday Positions Ongoing Perm Employment Contract (with long-term) GR Production Services (GRPS) is seeking a detail-driven and experienced Turnaround Event Lead to join our embedded workforce within a client team on a major turnaround. This is a permanent, full-time position , based at our client corporate head office in Perth CBD and operates Monday to Friday . The role plays a critical part in collaborating with multi-disciplinary stakeholders throughout the pre-execute, execute, and run-out phases of a major Turnaround (TAR). Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Lead the define, execution, and close-out phases of the turnaround in alignment with the company’s turnaround management framework. Coordinate multi-discipline teams including mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and civil. Develop and manage the turnaround schedule, ensuring alignment with production and maintenance strategies. Oversee contractor and vendor performance, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and schedule requirements. Act as the site focal point during critical phases of the turnaround. Ensure HSE compliance, including inductions, toolbox talks, and risk assessments. Manage change control, emergent work, and scope growth. Facilitate daily coordination meetings and progress reporting. Support cost tracking, resource planning, and logistics coordination. Qualifications and Experience Mandatory: Engineering Degree or Mechanical/Electrical trade certificate C Class Driver’s Licence – valid, open, manual Certificate III Process Plant Operations (desirable) Additional tertiary or trade qualifications in Project Management, Frontline Management or Workplace Health & Safety (desirable) Minimum of 10 years’ experience in the Oil & Gas or Energy industry Demonstrated experience in execution roles in Turnaround/Shutdown, developing processes, procedures and systems Knowledge and experience with Computerised Maintenance Management Systems and planning tools (Primavera or similar preferred). Contractor management experience.
