THE ROLE The Project Officer is part of a multi-disciplinary team that delivers strategic initiatives that support evidence-informed decision making and practice across the family services sector, using data and evidence to design and implement innovative, integrated family services that keep children and families safe, well, connected and empowered. In this role you will contribute to strategic policy development as well as provide project and contract management, and governance support, to meet deliverables and deadlines. You will coordinate work to develop and streamline digital content across a variety of online platforms, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure their perspectives guide and tailor our work. As a member of the Family Services and Evidence Strategy work unit, you will enjoy flexible working arrangements and undertake a variety of work. The work environment encourages a collaborative approach to work unit priorities, providing opportunities to apply existing project/program skills across a range of areas, to continue to build on your expertise in project management and delivery, and to develop strategic policy skills. ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE Deliver project management, reporting and administration for priority projects within the Family Services and Evidence Strategy work unit. Create and maintain templates and tools, administrative systems and processes to assist with the timely delivery of accurate and high-quality project deliverables. * Undertake data analysis and prepare data reports to support project monitoring and evaluation and that inform evidence-informed policy.
