We’re building a centralised team to provide expert advice and support on workplace adjustments across the Department of Customer Service. As a Workplace Adjustments Advisor, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our people have the right support they need to thrive, especially in caseswhen requests involveing complexity or require escalation. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a new function from the ground up, working alongside a small, dedicated team and reporting to the Team Leader. About the Role In this role, you will: Provide tailored advice and support on workplace adjustments for employees and managers. Support the resolution of complex or sensitive cases requests by facilitating person-centred solutions that reflect best practice in inclusion and workplace policy. Apply a proactive, solutions-focused mindset to ensure all advice and actions support individuals while aligning with relevant legislation and People & Culture guidance. Work closely with stakeholders to help identify and remove barriers to inclusion and accessibility. Collaborate with other People & Culture teams and business areas to embed inclusive practices. Contribute to the development of tools, resources, and processes that support consistent and effective adjustments. Maintain accurate records and contribute to reporting, trend analysis, and continuous improvement. About You You’re a thoughtful and solutions-focused advisor with a strong understanding of workplace adjustments and inclusive practice. You’re confident working with stakeholders, navigating complexity, and contributing to a positive employee experience. To be successful, you’ll have: Experience in workplace adjustments, disability inclusion, or related advisory roles. Knowledge of relevant legislation and public sector frameworks (e.g. Disability Discrimination Act, WHS Act). Ability to manage sensitive matters with professionalism and discretion. A commitment to equity, accessibility, and continuous improvement. The ability to balance empathy and pragmatism within legal and organisational policy frameworks.
