ABOUT US Mort & Co Service Centre, operating out of Pittsworth, Queensland and specialising in heavy vehicles, provides high-quality maintenance and repair services for our robust Mort & Co Transport fleet and the broader agricultural and transport industries. ABOUT THE ROLE As the Parts Interpreter you will support the Manager (Workshop) to manage workshop operations and optimise fleet and customer vehicle parts by: Identifying, interpreting and locating parts required for service and repairs by workshop technicians. Efficiently ordering parts for delivery within expected timeframes. Receipting of incoming parts into stock management systems. Managing parts inventory and stock control, ensuring high turnover parts are on hand when needed. Advising customers and technicians on correct parts and their usage. Acting as the first point of contact for suppliers, understanding how to source and secure parts at competitive prices. Entering daily parts Movements in relevant systems with a high degree of accuracy, ensuring all sales, back orders, stock transfers, credit notes and general distribution ABOUT YOU To be successful in the Parts Interpreter role you will have: Relevant experience in a service centre environment, interpreting parts ideally for heavy vehicles. A manual C Class drivers licence. Strong industry and inventory software systems Knowledge including Xero and Pronto or similar software Strong communication and customer service skills. Computer literacy, with high attention to detail and accurate data entry skills. Strong creative thinking and problem-solving skills. The ability to work under pressure and handle stress.
