Working closely with the Child Death Review Operations Committee, you will help ensure that every case is thoroughly examined to identify opportunities for improvement in policies, practices, and inter-agency collaboration. Your key accountabilities The core capability requirements for this role are: - Provide high quality, well-researched advice to senior management in relation to issues effecting policing of (please complete) and respond to such issues by developing effective policy options and strategies.- Perform project and research tasks aimed at the investigation, analysis and evaluation of issues affecting (please complete).- Contribute as part of a multi-disciplinary team to the planning, development, implementation and monitoring of Whole of Government strategies and Queensland Police Service strategic and operational plans related to policing (please complete).- Monitor, evaluate and review policies, legislation and practices across Government and within the Queensland Police Service, which impact on (pleasecomplete) and liaise and negotiate with those agencies to achieve an appropriate holistic response.- Prepare correspondence, briefings and submissions for senior management, the Minister, Cabinet and other diverse audiences regarding (please complete).- Produce timely and accurate information to be used for the purpose of evaluating programs, providing a basis for planning and policy development, and the assessment of legislative impacts on policing (please complete).- Consult and liaise effectively with other areas of the Queensland Police Service and relevant Government departments and non-government organisations on (please complete) issues, as appropriate, and represent the Queensland Police Service on inter-agency forums.
