The Freedom of Information (FOI) Officer supports the delivery of the Directorate’s FOI responsibilities by managing the administrative aspects of FOI processing and is involved in the full life cycle of FOI requests as well as supporting other activities in the team. Attention to detail, care, diligence, being well organised and upholding confidentiality are critical skills for success in the position. At times, the FOI Officer will encounter information that may be confronting as it relates to neglect, abuse or violence, particularly towards children. However, there is no direct contact with victim-survivors.
