Description The Opportunity Downer’s Energy & Utilities business is seeking a dynamic and strategic Senior Learning & Development Manager to lead the L&D framework across the business unit. This pivotal role will drive capability development, embed leadership competencies, and ensure compliance and continuous improvement in learning initiatives. Reporting to the ANZ Head of Talent & Development, you’ll manage a high-performing team and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver impactful, scalable, and sustainable L&D solutions that support our frontline leaders and broader workforce. Responsibilities What we're looking for : We’re seeking a seasoned L&D professional with: A bachelor’s qualification in Adult Education or Human Resources. Minimum 8 years’ experience in a similar role, including leadership team exposure. Proven success in large, matrixed organisations delivering high-level L&D outcomes. Strong strategic thinking, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills. Expertise in employee performance management, compliance, and customer-focused service delivery. Experience implementing leadership competency frameworks and managing employee engagement programs. High-level influencing, interpersonal, and relationship-building capabilities.
