Job Description About the Opportunity Reporting to the Head of Capability and Development, this role leads the design and delivery of strategic Organisational Development (OD) initiatives that enhance performance and culture across the university. You’ll also oversee internal talent management and succession planning, ensuring workforce capability aligns with future needs. Collaborating widely, you’ll provide expert OD advice and help solve cultural and organisational challenges. The role also manages a small team and works closely with the Senior Lead (Inclusion & Development) to ensure successful implementation of OD programs. Key Responsibilities Champion and deliver evidence based initiatives across the employee lifecycle that enhance employee engagement, drive organisational performance, and uplift leadership capability. Manage a small team of Capability and Organisational Development Partners responsible for organisational development projects from concept to execution, ensuring delivery on time, within scope and budget. Design contemporary programs to support the organisation to navigate change and transformation. Partner with senior stakeholders across the University to align people strategies with future workforce needs. About you Post graduate qualifications in organisational psychology along with proven experience in organisational development, leadership capability uplift and/ or talent management. Strong understanding of contemporary OD practices and change management methodologies. Exceptional stakeholder engagement and relationship building skills. Strategic thinking with the ability to translate vision into actionable programs. Experience in leading complex projects and driving continuous improvement. Candidates must have full unrestricted Australian work rights and may be subject to a National criminal history check. What we can offer This is fixed term opportunity from 1 January 2026 – 30 June 2027 and can be based at either our Brisbane South (Nathan) or Gold Coast Campus. As Griffith is a multi-site University you may be required to work across other locations. HEW 10 salary – $142,222.18 17% super. Full package - $166,399.96.
