Construction delivers an extensive range of high-quality specialist services in the areas of infrastructure, stormwater drainage, bridge maintenance, transport network technologies, trades and land remediation. The Role The Building Maintenance Help Desk (BMHD) receives on average 500 calls per month which can be for the purpose of initiating notifications. This role will assist the BMHD team to action these requests through the Trade Services scheduling portal by issuing the work to an external or internal service provider. The position will support the Trade Services team across multi disciplines which include electrical, plumbing, carpentry and painting. The position assists in processing up to 500 SAP notifications and 800 emails a month whilst assisting in the creation of over 530 notifications in SAP. This team is an integral part of Trade Services functionality and the entry point for all work allocated into the business unit and are therefore heavily relied upon to obtain accurate information in a fast-paced business. The Trade Services support team is responsible for compiling information and maintenance requests from customers to ensure the successful delivery of planned and reactive work. To be successful in this role, you will have: well-developed organisational and interpersonal communication skills strong computer skills and the ability to learn new systems quickly the ability to learn trade maintenance operational processes and delivery challenges the ability to become efficient in a call centre-type environment an ability to contribute to the development and maintenance of scheduling processes a passion to liaise with a variety of internal and external stakeholders demonstrated skills in decision making and problem solving knowledge in the workings of SAP and FWM would be advantageous but not required.
