Parent Liaison Officer Canterbury College is a high-performing, award-winning Anglican ELC to 12 school, serving the dynamic growth corridor of Logan, northern Gold Coast, the Scenic Rim and southern Brisbane. About the Role: The College is currently seeking a permanent, part-time, Parent Liaison Officer to work in its Enrolments Office. The role is offered on a part-time basis (0.6) with the possibility to negotiate flexible rostering arrangements which are mutually beneficial to the successful candidate and the College. The successful applicant will be an integral part of our Enrolments Team, responsible for managing parent accounts, supporting new family onboarding, resolving general parent queries across the full life of the College, and contributing to the broader Enrolments Office team. The role ensures accurate billing, timely collection, and positive engagement with families, in alignment with the College’s values. Responsibilities may Include: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all student accounts, including tuition, fees, and other charges. Communicate professionally with families regarding account balances, overdue payments, and available financial support options. Assist in preparing accurate final statements for families exiting the College. Ensure consistent communication and data accuracy between Finance and Enrolments. Conduct phone check-ins with new families. Provide clear information to families about College fee policies, payment methods, and financial processes. Support parents in navigating College systems. Liaise with transport providers and assist families with bus route bookings, billing, and communication. Contribute to general Enrolments Office activities and support ad hoc tasks. Key Selection Criteria Demonstrated experience in a finance, accounts administration, or customer service role, preferably within an educational or similar client-focused environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and confidence in learning new digital platforms and systems. Essential Qualifications: Have a current Positive Notice working with children Blue Card, or the ability to obtain one. Experience working in an educational setting highly regarded.
