Solenis is on the lookout for an Account Manager to manage existing accounts About the role: The Account Manager is responsible for managing existing Alumina and mining customer accounts to ensure long-term retention and account security through the implementation of structured, professional account management practices. The role also focuses on expanding application usage and enhancing profitability within the current customer base. You will be responsible for: Account Management Conduct regular customer review meetings to ensure satisfaction and alignment Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports (or as required) Lead and deliver Return on Investment (ROI) initiatives for our valued customers Maintain customer management and service plans Technical Services Manage chemical applications on customer sites Perform dosing equipment checks and calibrations as needed Monitor and manage inventory levels Conduct product screenings and evaluations New Business Development Execute new business initiatives with our customers Build, manage, and maintain a robust opportunity pipeline Drive growth by expanding business with existing customers Key Competencies & Requirements Strong commitment to safety and hazard awareness Alumina technical sales/service experience welcomed Effective troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and customer service abilities Customer-focused and results-driven Works well independently and in teams Self-managed with strong prioritization skills Flexible and willing to travel with valid driver’s license Experience with boilers and/or cooling towers Background in sales, service, or account management (preferred) Degree in Chemistry, Science, or Chemical Engineering We understand that candidates will not meet every single desired job requirement.
