About the opportunity This role involves managing chemical accounts for mining clients in the Kalgoorlie Goldfields. The position is approximately 80% account management and 20% business development. Travel is required every second week (or 2 weeks out of 4) to Kalgoorlie, with flexibility while back in Perth. In this role, you will: Build and maintain strong relationships with site-based decision-makers Conduct plant surveys and consult on process drivers and issues Deliver 3-5 site-specific projects that add value beyond supply Troubleshoot product performance and optimise chemical usage Support business development by exploring new opportunities You will split your time between site visits, lab testing in Perth, and report writing. During onboarding, training includes plant visits in Geelong, lab shadowing, and a national sales development program. About you You will have experience in client-facing roles within the resources or chemical sector. You are inquisitive, proactive, and comfortable with regular travel. You thrive in technical discussions and have a focus on value-adding rather than selling a product alone. To be successful in this role, you will ideally have: A degree in Science, Metallurgy or related field (or qualified by experience) Experience in managing mining or industrial client accounts Exposure to plant environments and technical consulting A current driver's licence The ability to pass mine medicals, drug and alcohol testing, and police clearance What's on offer This is a Perth-based role involving regular travel to an established client base in the Goldfields.
