You will be joining a dynamic team performing the duties of a property manager, with the title of Asset Manager, VIC. About the role As the Asset Manager, you will be responsible for driving asset strategies to minimise risk, reduce costs and maximise the performance across 8 assets located in Victoria. Key responsibilities include: Day-to-day property management of the portfolio Form trusted relationships with tenants and stakeholders Manage arrears and prepare financial reports Negotiate lease renewals with existing tenants Drive asset strategies and plans across the portfolio Make recommendations that provide value-add and optimisation Identify and minimise risk to the portfolio Maximise property and income returns through cost-saving initiatives About you To succeed in this role, our client is looking for: 5 years' experience in commercial property management. Demonstrated experience across all property management tasks. Confidence and ability to negotiate successful lease renewals. Strong financial acumen with experience preparing budgets, forecasts, and reporting. Knowledge of the Retail Leases Act (VIC) and understanding of leasing, valuations and compliance principles. Certificate IV Real Estate (Agents Representative Certificate). Proficiency in property management systems, preferably Yardi, and Microsoft Office.
