The Health, Safety & Environmental Administrator will provide efficient, effective and timely administrative support to the HSE function and responsible for a diverse range of key activities that are critical to work execution. The role will be integral to Thales’ Underwater Systems, Avionic and Secure Communications business lines (UVX) and requires an individual who is motivated, forward thinking, confident and flexible - with the ability to remain calm under pressure in an ever-changing environment. A proactive approach to problem solving and finding solutions independently is required. Resilience, patience and adaptability are also key, along with a good sense of humour. While supportive of hybrid working, the role may occasionally require work at different office locations. Maintain and improve HSE documentation (SharePoint knowledge essential). Maintain and coordinate training, competency, and inductions. Manage HSE reporting databases and communicate/ monitor corrective action completion Manage HSE correspondence, communications and shared inboxes. Support business wellness and health monitoring programs. Support HSRs and business HSE committee meetings General administration associated with claims and injury management Produce presentations, documents, and meeting minutes as and when required. Collate information, produce and cascade reports, (delegating when appropriate) KEY KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE To be successful in your role, you will have demonstrated and/or acquired the following knowledge and experience: Certificate IV in WHS preferred but not essential Excellent communication skills and relationship building (internal and external) is paramount Advanced skills in Microsoft Office suite (including SharePoint) Practical experience in ISO HSE Management Systems Practical experience in Competency Management Systems and training coordination Practical experience in SharePoint and online database management Demonstrated time management skills and high attention to detail. Ability to adapt to new challenges quickly and efficiently.
