Join our Integrity Unit and become a pivotal player in promoting ethical behaviours, transparency, and accountability across the Agency. The team is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing the Agency's Integrity Framework and leading a strengthened, best-practice, enterprise-wide approach to integrity. The key duties of the position include Reporting to the Assistant Director Investigations and Probity, you will assist in the operational activities of Integrity Unit and support the Agency's investigative and probity-related assurance capability. The role includes coordinating and reporting on Agency officials' compliance with mandatory probity and integrity training as well as identifying and actioning probity-related risks across other Agency activities. The position will also assist in delivering inward facing assessments of real or perceived conflicts of interest and support the Unit in identifying and managing complex risk profiles, also having the capability to be either an Agency probity advisor, or probity auditor. In this dynamic role, you will conduct complex investigations, deliver insightful and professional advice on sensitive matters using your extensive knowledge of relevant government legislation and guidelines. You will champion a positive integrity culture through educational and communication initiatives and ensure that our policies and procedures align with legislative requirements. Your high-level technical knowledge will ensure accurate and timely investigative outcomes. As a trusted advisor, you'll engage with a range of stakeholders, fostering strong relationships and promoting an environment where ethical behaviour thrives. We're looking for someone who can demonstrate: Knowledge and experience relating to conducting investigations pursuant to the Australian Government Investigation Standards (AGIS) and/or Regulatory Powers (Standard Provisions) Act 2014. Undertake probity or integrity risk assessment, recommend strategies and develop controls to manage risks. Make initial assessments on whether declared, or undeclared, related interests amount to a conflict of interest and advise on a management or action plan to address those risks. In partnership with the Assistant Director Investigations and Probity, undertake initial case assessments or investigations into suspected probity, integrity or serious non-compliance across a broad range of Agency programs and activities, and report findings.
