We deliver nationwide turnkey telecommunication infrastructure solutions, encompassing engineering, installation, commissioning, and maintenance across multiple disciplines. We are currently seeking a Senior SHEQ Advisor to join our team. The Role Reporting to the SHEQ National Manager the SHEQ Advisor will coordinate and lead all aspects of safety, health, quality and environment operations across a number of projects. The SHEQ Advisor will be responsible for: Leading a Think Safe. Work Safe. Home Safe culture Conducting site inspections and audits on internal crews and subcontractors Development and ongoing review of SWMS, SHE Management Plan & Risk Registers against legislation, incident findings and client feedback Assisting in the delivery of SHEQ improvement programs & communications Leading incident investigations Managing internal and/or external audits on projects Review and analyse SHEQ performance to identify risks and implement strategies that improve performance Essential Skills/Qualifications/Experience -Tertiary Qualifications in Occupational Health and Safety (minimum Certificate IV OHS/WHS) - 5 years' experience in a SHEQ position - Demonstrated experience in achieving performance goals and objectives - Demonstrated good safety record and knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety - Strong knowledge of relevant legislative and compliance requirements. - Current National Police Clearance. - Workplace First Aid Certificate and valid CPR Certificate. - ICAM Lead Investigator. - Construction Safety Induction White Card. - Valid Australian Driver's License - "C" Class Desirable Skills/Qualifications/Experience - Experience in utilities and/or construction and/or resources industry - Experience or qualifications in risk management, quality management and environmental management - Experience or qualifications in frontline leadership - Certificate IV in Training and Assessment - Drug & Alcohol Testing Certificate The Benefits The successful candidate will benefit from exposure to multidisciplinary works, a competitive remuneration package, opportunities for growth with a large pipeline of upcoming projects and access to our Employee Assistance Program.
