Irrigation Labourers WANTED TP Human Capital is currently seeking reliable and hard-working Irrigation Labourers here in Townsville. Pay Rate: $37.90 per hour Super Hours: 38 hours per week Duration: ASAP start - 3 month contract with opportunity for extension About the Role: This hands-on position involves assisting with the installation, maintenance, and repair of irrigation systems in public parks and landscaped areas. You’ll work outdoors as part of a team helping to maintain the city’s green spaces. Key Duties: General labouring and manual outdoor work Digging and backfilling holes Replacing broken sprinklers and adjusting spray nozzles Installing and maintaining irrigation systems in lawns and garden beds Assisting team members and following direction from a Team Leader Performing other duties as required to support maintenance operations Skills & Requirements: Construction Industry White Card (mandatory) C Class Unrestricted Manual Driver Licence (mandatory) Physically fit and capable of manual labour, especially coming into summer. Safety-conscious and reliable with a strong work ethic Previous experience in irrigation, parks, or grounds maintenance (desirable, but not essential) Pre-Employment Requirements: Pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screening Police check clearance Apply with an up-to-date resume.
