About the role Reporting to the CEO – Symbion and Healthcare Distribution, the Executive General Manager – Commercial plays a critical leadership role within the Healthcare Executive team, driving strategic planning, growth initiatives including M&A, and operational excellence across the portfolio. The role oversees major commercial agreements, leads due diligence, and prepares business cases for EBOS Group Executive and Board approval. Success in this role requires the leadership of a high-performing commercial team, underpinned by strong stakeholder engagement, sound financial acumen, and a nuanced understanding of the competitive healthcare landscape. The incumbent will be expected to remain closely aligned with evolving market dynamics and government funding mechanisms, leveraging these insights to drive performance, inform strategic decisions, and foster innovation across the portfolio. Responsibilities Drive strategic planning and growth initiatives across the Healthcare portfolio, including mergers & acquisitions. Oversee major commercial agreements, lead due diligence, and prepare business cases for EBOS Group Executive and Board approval. Lead and develop a high-performing commercial team with strong stakeholder engagement and financial acumen. Monitor evolving market dynamics and government funding mechanisms to inform strategy and drive performance. Foster innovation and ensure regulatory-aligned, commercially sound decisions across the portfolio. Qualifications CA, CPA or MBA (or equivalent) and strong financial, legal, and procurement acumen. Experience in healthcare, FMCG, or environments with complex supply chains. Proven track record in matrixed organisations and ability to influence across senior stakeholders.
