POSITION: BAKER / PASTRY COOK Salary: $65,200 - $70,000 per annum, salary commensurate with responsibilities and experience The Baker / Pastry Cook is responsible for producing high-quality bread, pastries, and baked goods in accordance with company recipes, food safety guidelines, and production schedules. This role involves preparing doughs, pastries, and fillings, monitoring baking operations, and ensuring that all products meet established quality and presentation standards Key Responsibilities: Conduct pre-production checks to ensure equipment and work areas are clean and compliant with occupational health and safety standards. Inspect and verify the quality of raw materials before use and accurately measure ingredients according to recipe and batch requirements. Prepare, mix, knead, ferment, cut, mould, and shape doughs and pastries to achieve desired textures and consistency. Create a variety of pastry fillings and components in line with product specifications. Monitor oven temperatures and baking times, adjusting as necessary to ensure even baking and optimal product quality. Oversee the complete baking process, including loading, baking, unloading, de-panning, cooling, and packaging of baked goods. Apply glazes, toppings, and decorations to pastries, buns, and cakes using creams, icings, and other finishes. Operate, adjust, and maintain bakery machinery and equipment such as mixers, rollers, moulders, and cutters. Clean, grease, and store baking trays, tins, and utensils to maintain hygiene and operational efficiency. Skills and Qualifications: Proven experience as a baker or pastry cook. Sound knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and food safety standards. 2. POSITION: BARISTA Salary : $65,200-$70,000 per annum, salary commensurate with responsibilities and experience. As a barista, your main responsibility is to mix and serve hot and cold beverages for guests. Key duties and responsibilities Give customers drink menus and answer their questions regarding ingredients Take orders while paying attention to details (e.g. preferences of coffee blend, dairy and sugar ratios) Prepare beverages following recipes Serve beverages and prepared food, like cookies, pastries and muffins Receive and process payments (cash and credit cards) Keep the bar area clean Maintain stock of clean mugs and plates Check if brewing equipment operates properly and report any maintenance needs Comply with health and safety regulations Communicate customer feedback to managers and recommend new menu items. 3. POSITION: CHEF Salary: $76,600 - $80,000 per annum, salary commensurate with responsibilities and experience As a chef, you are responsible for creating memorable culinary experiences for customers in our establishments. You will work closely with our Head Chef, cooks and other kitchen staff to ensure that each plate leaving the kitchen is a masterpiece. Key duties and responsibilities: Preparing for service, which includes ensuring the kitchen is well stocked with the necessary ingredients, as well as cleaning, cutting and marinating food Cooking and serving food, while coordinating with other kitchen staff and wait staff Maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of the kitchen Explaining and enforcing hygiene regulations Creating new dishes and planning menus Ensuring that dishes meet high standards at all stages of preparation and presentation Planning menus, estimating food and labour costs, and ordering food supplies Demonstrating techniques and advising on cooking procedures 4. POSITION: COOK Salary: $65,200 - $70,000 per annum, salary commensurate with responsibilities and experience As a cook, you will be an integral part of our kitchen team, responsible for preparing high-quality dishes that meet our exacting standards. Your creativity, attention to detail, and dedication to culinary perfection will help us maintain our reputation as one of the best dining establishments in the area. Key duties and responsibilities: Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, including appetisers, entrees, and desserts, following established recipes and presentation guidelines. Ensure that all food is cooked to the appropriate temperature and meets food safety standards. Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient workspace, including proper storage and labelling of ingredients. Collaborate with the Head Chef and the kitchen team to develop new menu items, and specials. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering and receiving supplies. Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper handling and storage of food, cleaning and sanitising equipment, and personal hygiene practices. Assist with training new kitchen staff and provide guidance and support as needed. Contribute to a positive and collaborative tea, environment, including effective communication and teamwork. 5. POSITION: GENERAL CLERK Salary: $65,200 - $70,000 per annum, salary commensurate with responsibilities and experience The General Clerk provides administrative and clerical support to ensure smooth daily operations across the venues. Key duties and responsibilities: Maintain accurate records, files, and documents related to venue operations. Perform data entry, prepare invoices, reports, and staff documentation. Manage phone calls, emails, and guest or supplier enquiries in a professional manner. Coordinate meeting schedules, staff rosters, and general correspondence. Monitor and replenish office and venue supplies as needed. Assist with basic bookkeeping, invoicing, and expense tracking. 6. POSITION: HOSPITALITY WORKER Salary: $65,200 - $70,000 per annum, salary commensurate with responsibilities and experience As a hospitality worker, you will be undertaking hospitality, customer service and related venue functions. Key duties and responsibilities: General customer service. Taking reservations, greeting and seating guests, and presenting them with menus and beverage lists. Setting and arranging tables and buffets. Taking food orders. Collecting payments for sales and operating EFTPOS and cash registers.
