About the role Join Are Media's dynamic Advertising Sales team as a Pricing & Inventory Lead, where you'll play a pivotal role in optimizing revenue across Australia's leading lifestyle media brands. This position combines strategic pricing expertise with inventory management to maximize advertising opportunities across print, digital, and integrated campaigns. You'll be at the forefront of media sales innovation, working with premium brands like Australian Women's Weekly, Better Homes and Gardens, and Marie Claire, while collaborating with sales teams to deliver compelling advertising solutions that drive business growth. Duties Revenue Optimization: Develop and implement dynamic pricing strategies across all advertising products to maximize yield and market competitiveness Inventory Management: Monitor, forecast, and optimize advertising inventory across print and digital platforms to ensure optimal sell-through rates Sales Support: Partner with sales teams to provide pricing guidance, inventory availability, and package recommendations for client proposals Market Analysis: Conduct regular competitor pricing analysis and market research to inform strategic pricing decisions Reporting & Analytics: Generate comprehensive reports on pricing performance, inventory utilization, and revenue forecasting for senior management System Management: Maintain accuracy of pricing and inventory data across advertising management systems and sales tools Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with editorial, production, and digital teams to align inventory planning with content calendars and campaign delivery Client Strategy: Support development of integrated advertising solutions by providing pricing models for multi-platform campaigns Skills and experience 3 years experience in media sales, advertising operations, or revenue management Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, data analysis tools, and advertising management systems Understanding of media buying processes and advertising industry dynamics Excellent numerical accuracy and attention to detail Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field Are Media is a proud member of Media Diversity Australia, a not-for-profit organisation working towards a media landscape that looks and sounds like Australia.
