Manager Cloud Risk See yourself in our team: Risk Management is an independent function within CommBank which is accountable for providing approval and acceptance of decisions to ensure the Group remains within its risk appetite. The Technology and Operations (Tech & Ops) Risk team is responsible for providing specialist Operational Risk and Compliance (OR&C) advice, assurance and acceptance/approval of decisions made across the Technology, COO and Supplier Support Units. Do work that matters: As a Manager in Technology Risk you will be a member of a team of technology risk professionals that provides Operational Risk & Compliance Support to the Technology & Security divisions. The support you provide will result in improvements to risk management and controls managed by Technology. The role requires building strong relationships and teamwork to improve the way that risk and compliance management practices are executed – whether to meet Group requirements or to support change initiatives that contribute towards Technology’s strategic priorities. Key Stakeholders / Relationships Build relationships with the following key stakeholders (subject to change from time to time): Cloud platform owners and teams. Line 1 CCO team responsible for Cloud. Technology and Group Compliance. Associated Line 2 Technology Risk teams, such as Technology, Cybersecurity and Resilience Risk teams. Audit teams. Key responsibilities for this role includes: Line 2 Risk Management oversight of CBA’s cloud platforms. Regular review of the configuration, controls and monitoring metrics (from systems such as Wiz.io ) of CBA’s cloud platforms. Carry out independent Line 2 Assurance of CBA’s cloud platforms, where applicable and agreed with stakeholders and as per regular assurance/review planning. Assist with Governance of CBA’s cloud platforms. Oversee, from the Line 2 perspective, CBA’s cloud platforms (AWS and Azure). Carry out Line 2 Operational Management Framework responsibilities over applicable controls and risk profiles. Advocate and help to foster best practice risk management in the area of cloud computing. We’re interested in hearing from people who have: Detailed working experience and technical knowledge of AWS and/or Microsoft Azure cloud. Experience in Risk Management and Risk Frameworks.
