About the Role Reporting to the Finance Head, the focus of this role is to work within a small team to drive Financial Control activities. This is a great opportunity for someone to utilise their knowledge in the financial services industry. Key Responsibilities Include Month end and year end reporting Preparation of Financial statements Preparation of monthly management accounts Oversee tax compliance requirements Drive continuous improvement across finance systems Lead projects Manage a finance team of up to 4 staff About You To be successful in this role, you will have experience in finance functions, including Financial Control. You are a qualified Chartered Accountant with Financial Services experience in Australia including working knowledge of tax and have a strong technical accounting background. You are resilient, adaptable, and enjoy a challenge. An ability to communicate with all levels of professional and to solve problems will also be advantageous.
