They are looking for a Marketing Specialist based at the Gold coast Head office to plan, develop and coordinate marketing activities that drive national growth. Gold Coast, QLD (Head Office) Full-Time Salary range : $90000 - $100000 Duties Plan, develop and implement marketing strategies to promote solar energy products and services across residential and commercial sectors. Identify and analyse market trends and customer needs to develop targeted marketing opportunities. Coordinate marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels Develop, manage and evaluate advertising campaigns in line with business objectives and brand positioning. Liaise with sales teams, call centre team and state-based lead generation teams to ensure effective campaign execution and high conversion rates. Research and monitor competitor activity and market conditions to inform promotional strategies. Measure and report on marketing performance, lead quality, ROI and campaign effectiveness. Contribute to product development and pricing strategies by providing insights into customer preferences and market trends. Develop promotional content, including brochures, digital creatives, and social media materials aligned with company branding. Requirements Minimum 3 years of marketing experience - ideally in solar, renewable energy or home improvement industries. Strong knowledge of solar rebates and subsidy programs (including federal and state incentives). Knowledge of battery rebate programs and STCs (Small-scale Technology Certificates). Good understanding of solar technology including panels, inverters, and battery solutions. Ability to adapt marketing strategies based on seasonal and regulatory changes in the solar industry. Familiarity with upcoming trends in the solar market (2-5 years), such as battery adoption, VPPs, EV-solar integration, and sharper digital ad competition. Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills. Ability to work both independently and in a team environment. Marketing Trends Continued growth of solar panel adoption as power prices rise. Strategic use of government subsidies in ad messaging to increase lead conversion. Targeting emerging battery rebate programs in SA, QLD, WA and NSW. Expanding into content marketing, short-form video, AI tools and hyper-local targeting for solar.
