Your Employer We on behalf of our client in the seed production industry, are seeking experienced Bulk Materials Handling Plant Operators to join their team in Narromine, NSW. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth processing, packaging, and storage of hybrid seed products used across Australia’s agricultural sector. Your Role As a Bulk Materials Handling Plant Operator, you will operate and maintain plant equipment to process bulk seed efficiently and safely. You will be involved in seed conditioning, treating, bagging, loading, and storage, ensuring quality standards are consistently achieved in a busy production environment. Key Responsibilities Operate equipment, such as loaders, forklifts and pallet jacks, to move seed within the plant for conditioning, drying and treating Operate bulk handling equipment to load, unload and store bulk products Ensure all materials coming into or leaving the plant are properly documented Bag, label, and palletise seed in line with production work orders. Perform daily inspections and machine checks, clean-downs, and basic maintenance of equipment. Inspect and monitor seed quality and collect samples for testing. Assist with physical inventory counts Accurately record inventory and production data using computer systems. Coordinating shipping of inbound/outbound products Support safe handling and application of seed treatment products. Assist across plant operations to meet production schedules Skills & Experience Previous experience in bulk materials handling, plant operations, or agricultural processing. Forklift licence (required). ChemCert accreditation (advantageous). Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures. Ability to work safely in a production environment with manual handling tasks. Flexibility to work extended hours or weekends during peak periods. Salary & Benefits $68,000 – $78,000 per annum plus superannuation.
