Workfast is seeking qualified and experienced Boilermakers for ongoing maintenance and fabrication work at Olympic Dam , SA. What’s on Offer $57.50/hr flat rate super (paid on all hours) 12-hour shifts on a 13:8 roster DIDO or residential – not FIFO Accommodation provided meal allowance Work with a respected mining contractor Ongoing role with career growth opportunities The Role The Boilermaker will carry out heavy fabrication, repair, and shutdown work as part of a skilled maintenance team, maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency. Responsibilities: Fabrication, welding, and repair tasks Read and interpret technical drawings and work orders Operate hand and power tools safely Set up and use fabrication equipment (grinders, welders, carbon arc gougers) Conduct quality checks and measure work to specifications Assist with shutdown repairs and general site duties Maintain cleanliness and safe work practices Skills & Qualifications Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade (Boilermaker) Proven experience in mining, heavy industrial, or shutdown environments White Card Confined Space & Working at Heights tickets (within 5 years) EWP ticket Current driver’s licence and reliable vehicle BHP Olympic Dam Induction (essential) Ability to pass pre-employment medical & D&A test Physically fit, reliable, and a strong team player Note: Clean shave policy applies on site.
