Pay Rate: Morning $36 Shift times: 4am Location: Smithfield, NSW Bonus Perks: Large national company & Overtime About the role: We are seeking a reliable, hardworking, and motivated individual to join our recycling facility in Smithfield. As a team member, you will start by learning all aspects of the role, including waste sorting, machine operating, and machine troubleshooting. No prior experience is required, but you must be comfortable working in a dirty, fast-paced environment. This role offers a clear path to grow into a team leader position, overseeing the dayshift team. While experience in similar fields like warehousing, labouring, or people management is a plus, it's not essential. We're looking for someone committed to building a long-term career with a large national company, not just a job. To be successful: Must be available Monday - Friday, 38hrs minimum Must be physically fit and able to lift between 5kg - 25kg repetitively Must be prepared to stand for 6 - 8 hours at a time Must be comfortable working in hot, wet, and dusty environments Must be able to sort through recycling waste (e.g., paper, plastics, aluminium) Must thrive in a fast-paced environment Must be available for occasional overtime and weekend work Must be able to start ASAP Must have reliable transport (limited public transport to site) Must be willing to undergo and PASS a drug and alcohol test at our Labourpower Prestons office No experience required - Training will be provided All applicants must be willing to undergo a medical fitness assessment via FaceTime or in our office.
