About the role We’re looking for a professionally developed, proactive, and safety-focused Materials Coordinator to support our warehouse and inventory operations across our NSW & Victorian assets. This role ensures the efficient supply, handling, storage and distribution of materials to field staff and contractors, as well as contributing to the smooth delivery of projects and services across the network. This position is based at our Pemulwuy depot and is responsible for supporting our Gas Transmission Operations & Project Teams across regional New South Wales & Victoria. The role will also provide support for our Gas Distribution Warehouse servicing the New South Wales Gas Networks Sydney Metropolitan & Country areas when required. The role involves regular travel across these regions; therefore, a strong commitment and a willingness to travel is essential. Key Responsibilities include Support with receiving, storing, issuing and distribution of materials across Zinfra operations Coordinate and undertake inventory movements, stocktakes, and cycle counts Liaise with suppliers, contractors, and internal teams to meet material requirements Maintain accurate records and use inventory systems for tracking and reporting Ensure setup, compliance, and continuous improvement of our warehouses. Support continuous improvement of warehouse systems and processes Provide high-level customer service to all stakeholders About You You’re a team player with strong attention to detail and a passion for operational excellence in a warehouse environment, along with a can do attitude and can work independently. You will also possess the following skills and attributes: Qualifications in Warehouse and or Inventory management (desirable) Experience in warehousing and inventory controls and processes Knowledge of manual handling techniques, Dangerous Goods and WHS practices Current forklift license, construction white card and valid Australian driver’s license Familiarity with SAP or other WMS systems Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc) Why you should work for us What we do matters.
