Description We currently have an opportunity for a Zero Harm Business Partner to join our Zero Harm team and play a key role in n shaping a culture of safety and continuous improvement, driving proactive risk management and ensuring the wellbeing of every team member across the organisation. Reporting to Zero Harm Manager, you'll help deliver high-quality outcomes that support our essential services. What You’ll Do This role offers a broad scope, with key responsibilities including: Act as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert on all Zero Harm matters, providing guidance and support to leaders and employees. Facilitate the development of a Zero Harm leadership culture focused on manager-led delivery of positive outcomes. Implement The Downer Standard (TDS) and support delivery of the Zero Harm Strategy. Lead and coach incident investigations using ICAM or equivalent methodology. Conduct risk assessments, trend analysis, and deliver training/coaching as required. Monitor legislative changes and communicate best practice initiatives. Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance. What You’ll Bring Formal work health and safety qualifications (Diploma or Degree in relevant discipline) Trained in ICAM or equivalent investigation methodology [mandatory]. Previous practical experience within a Workplace Health & Safety or OHS related role. Experience conducting WHS/OHS management system audits within the past 2 years. Exposure to high-risk industries, preferably construction, infrastructure or FM. Strong skills in risk assessments and verification of site safety management plans. Ability to obtain and retain Defence Security Clearance (Australian Citizenship required).
