Assist in the resolution of technical support issues for server hardware and software. Maintain, monitor and troubleshoot physical and virtual server infrastructure. Maintain, monitor and troubleshoot the Windows and Linux server environment. Maintain, monitor and troubleshoot storage arrays and related devices. Maintain, monitor and troubleshoot network-based services: File and Print services, Email, Active Directory, DHCP/DNS/WINS Maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot messaging and meeting systems: conference room equipment, audio/video conferencing, etc. Administer, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot the Azure VM environment. Perform additional tasks as requested, including but not limited to: data backups disaster recovery recommendation, testing and procurement of IT-related hardware and software document systems and processes recommend and effect policy Serve as main escalation point for systems related issues Other duties as assigned OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES Working knowledge of LAN and WAN topologies and architecture. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft server, Microsoft Active Directory, Exchange and SharePoint. Working knowledge of Server and PC operating systems, including Windows 2016, 2019, and 2022, as well as Linux OS Redhat, CentOS, Suse Linux, and Debian Working knowledge of configuring and maintaining VMware and virtual environments. Experience installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining all servers, storage arrays, and related equipment, including replication, mirroring, and de-duplication services. Experience in configuring and running Microsoft DHCP and DNS services. Some knowledge of IP Telephony Working knowledge of PC hardware and components, including processors, motherboards, accessories, cards, and peripherals. Working knowledge of PC/LAN application software Working knowledge of IT security Strong client service skills required. Develop effective working relationships with clients, co-workers and vendors. Ability to communicate with all levels of management and IT clients. Ability to interface with technical staff and vendors. Some working knowledge of Microsoft Azure and M365 licensing and suite Ability to navigate O365 Exchange and Azure AD EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems or related field preferred. Industry certifications will be considered along with experience for non-degreed candidates. Minimum requirements: 5 – 7 years of experience providing information technology administration services in a Windows environment at a Senior or equivalent level. Work Arrangement: This is a remote position. The successful candidate will not need to work on-site and can be based anywhere in Australia, as long as they have reliable internet access and can collaborate effectively across different time zones.
