Position Summary: Melbourne Marriott Hotel Docklands & AC Hotel by Marriott Melbourne Southbank are seeking an open-minded, proactive and caring Cluster Hotel Accountant to join our established and enthusiastic Cluster Finance team! Your main duties as Cluster Hotel Accountant includes: Maintain accurate financial records in accordance with accounting standards and hotel policies. Record and reconcile daily income, payments and bank transactions. Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections. Prepare tax returns and ensure compliance with local tax and regulatory requirements. Collaborating with internal departments to ensure financial discipline and cost control. Manage payroll, employee reimbursements, and related accounting processes. Assist in budget preparation and forecast preparation. About You: To be successful in this role, you will have: Minimum two years experience in a similar position. Experience in a Hotel Finance Team is highly regarded, but not required.
