Position: Dental Technician We are seeking a skilled and motivated digital Dental Technician to join our professional team. The role involves the use of the latest CAD/CAM technology in order to design dental appliances, surgery planning, 3D printing, milling, intra oral scanning and more. The role will also include working closely with our dentists and hygienist to provide the best support the patients. Qualifications & experience: A minimum of 1 years experience in a similar role Atleast a Diploma in Dental Technology Present well and have good customer communication skills Reliable and punctual Your key responsibilities will include: Pouring up impression model trimming Utilise CAD/CAM software to design dental restorations: of Crowns, Onlays, Inlays and veneers. Processing polishing and glazing crown, onlays, inlays and veneers. Utilise CAD/CAM software to design / 3D print models for the elaboration of mouth appliances Operate 3D printers to create models and components for restoration. When Milling: You must Operate milling machines to precisely cut and shape dental restorations from material blocks. When doing Prosthetic Creation: Fabricate mouthguards, splints, retainers and bleaching trays. Workflow Management Adhering to health, safety, and quality regulations at all times. Digital File Management: Process digital scans, upload files to fabrication systems, and manage digital data to ensure completeness and accuracy. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of production, materials used, and digital case files. Calibration: Ensure equipment calibration for optimal performance and accuracy. Troubleshooting: Diagnose any technical issues and inform to the appropriate technical support of each program and company. You must ensure Quality Assurance & Collaboration by Implement strict quality control measures to ensure the accuracy, fitness, and durability of dental prosthetics. Work closely with dentists and other dental professionals to understand specifications and incorporate feedback. Compliance: Adhere to standard operating procedures, infection control protocols, and safety standards within the lab. Adhering to health, safety, and quality regulations at all times Ensure the appropriate stock levels of any material, tool needed in the lab.
