Healthcare Australia is seeking skilled Disability Support Workers to support our community clients across the Rockhampton region, from residential SIL homes to engaging community activities. Whether you are an early riser, night owl, or somewhere in between, we’ve got a place for you! The role Casual position, starting as soon as possible. Minimum shift: 3 hours, typically 3–8 hours. Work in disability residential environments and community settings. Assist clients with personal care, daily activities, and social engagement activities. Eligibility criteria: Minimum of 6-months (FTE) experience in supporting clients with physical/intellectual disabilities. Experience working with clients who have high-intensity and complex behaviours. Possess a valid Police Check (valid within the last 3 years). Available to work a minimum of 2 shifts per week: which could include day, afternoon, and night shifts (sleepovers or active awakes). Medication Administration. Current First Aid and CPR certificate (or willing to obtain). Current WWCC (Blue Card)/ Disability Workers Screening (Yellow Card) and NDIS Screening. Does this sound like you?
