Lived experience relevant to the role is very desirable. These positions are offered on a casual basis, allowing for a flexible work schedule that can accommodate various personal commitments and lifestyles. Working days – Monday to Sunday, with various different shifts available. The Day to Day: - Providing support to participants in the mental health space, to improve their independence by assisting with living skills, transport, social activities, as well as other supports as required. - Keeping customer records up to date using online systems. - Developing and maintaining professional relationships with people, families, caregivers and key stakeholders. - Complete risk assessments, support plans and other required documents in a timely manner. About You: - Punctual, Friendly, Outgoing, Non-Judgmental, Flexible, Persistent, Empathetic, Practical, Balanced, Compassionate and Warm. - Invested in providing the highest quality in Mental Health services to the community. - Competent in working with people living with Mental Health. What you need to have: - Qualification in Mental Health or Community Services, OR equivalent relevant experience in the human services industry. - Demonstrated understanding of mental health issues affecting individuals, young people, families and communities. - Knowledge of services, Mental Health programs, NDIS and Understanding of Person-Centered Practices. - Current Police Check (or willingness to obtain prior to starting with us) - Valid NSW Drivers C class license, with ability to drive vehicles in license class. - NDISWC (or willingness to obtain prior to starting with us) - WWCC (or willingness to obtain prior to starting with us) - Basic skills in Microsoft Office and other common computer systems. - Passion, Respect & Integrity.
