Check out our 90 second video at https://intium.com.au Position Overview: We’re seeking an experienced Estimating Manager to lead the estimating function and deliver accurate, competitive cost estimates for construction and engineering projects. Working closely with the Intium team and external partners, you’ll collaborate with project managers, procurement, sales, and suppliers to develop dependable cost projections and bid strategies. This role is pivotal in ensuring project success through effective cost control, risk assessment, and continuous improvement of estimating practices. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, or demonstrated capability through relevant experience and/or qualifications. Desired experience Proven success managing large-scale, complex projects in the energy transition sector. Expertise in cost estimation methodologies, including modelling, forecasting, and risk analysis. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and project cost structures. Proficiency with estimating software and tools. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines. Experience leading competitive bid submissions and maintaining profit margins. Effective leadership of cross-functional teams, with a track record of mentoring and motivating others.
