This position offers the opportunity to develop hands-on experience across a varied range of local government accounting functions. You’ll contribute to the effective delivery of financial services, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and continuous improvement in financial processes. You bring a strong academic foundation, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and a genuine interest in Local Government finance. To be the successful candidate, you must have completed within the last two years (or nearing completion of), a tertiary qualification in accounting.
