Key Responsibilities As a Senior Internal Auditor at APA Group, you will: Play a key role in delivering meaningful audits across our diverse energy infrastructure portfolio, using your understanding of risk and controls to make a real impact. Partner with people across the business to build trust, share insights and turn audit outcomes into positive change. Apply sound judgement and critical thinking to balance risk, control and commercial considerations. Bring a modern mindset to audit delivery — using tools like analytics, data visualisation and AI to uncover trends and tell the story behind the data. Help shape how we work by contributing ideas that make our audit approach smarter, simpler and more impactful. Turn complex information into clear, practical recommendations that drive better decisions. Be an active part of a supportive, high-performing team that values learning, collaboration and curiosity. About You You’re a clear communicator who enjoys working with others and bringing structure to complex environments. You combine strong analytical thinking with sound judgement and a proactive mindset. You’ll also bring: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages for different audiences Proven experience in a corporate environment, ideally with exposure to risk, controls or assurance Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively Proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools, including PowerPoint, SharePoint, Word and Teams A proactive, adaptable approach and a genuine interest in continuous learning and improvement Qualifications and Experience Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g. business, technology, economics, engineering, project management or similar) Professional qualification such as CA, CIA, CISA, CPA (or equivalent) is desirable Prior experience in the energy or infrastructure sector is highly regarded Working at APA At APA we’re committed to fostering a safe and inclusive workplace where you can achieve your best.
