About the role Th e Administration Officer role provides essential administrative support to the national School of Health Sciences, working closely with academic and professional staff to ensure smooth operations. Reporting to the Senior Administration Officer (Clinical Education) , the position operates under routine supervision to deliver efficient and effective service. Key Responsibilities Provide efficient administrative support within the S chool , including coordination of meetings, minute-taking, and handling correspondence. Manage data and documentation accurately, including data entry, maintaining spreadsheets, compiling reports, and preparing written communications under direction. Deliver excellent customer service to students and University stakeholders, ensuring timely and professional responses to queries. Support office operations, including maintaining internal databases and registers, and assisting with day-to-day administrative tasks. Assist with reporting and documentation, such as preparing submissions, statistical summaries, and other required materials. Collaborate across departments, supporting the Administration Coordinator and Senior Administrative Officers, and ensuring compliance with university policies and procedures. Qualifications, skills & experience Completion of a diploma-level qualification, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training Demonstrated administrative experience, preferably in tertiary or other education sectors Proficiency in software applications including Microsoft Office Suite ( Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams ), with the ability to learn internal systems such as SONIA, CELCAT, timetabling, and video conferencing tools.
