Job Description Opportunity: Albany Regional Day Care is seeking a qualified and experienced person to fill the position of Child Care Educator Team Leader. In this role, you will play an integral part in shaping a high-quality, nurturing environment for children and leading a passionate, professional team of educators. As the Childcare Team Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Centre, guiding staff development, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and driving continuous improvement in program delivery. Desired Skills and Experience About You: To be eligible for this leadership role within the City of Albany’s Day Care Centre, candidates must possess a Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent), a current First Aid Certificate, Working with Children Card, and a valid ‘C’ Class Driver’s Licence. A minimum of three years’ experience as a qualified Educator in a childcare service is essential, along with proven skills in staff supervision, program development, and working with children aged 0–6. Applicants must demonstrate a strong understanding of the National Quality Framework, Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), and relevant legislation, as well as excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
