We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Nominated Supervisor and Early Childhood Teacher to join our team at Macleod Preschool. Our exceeding rated service is located in a beautiful setting in the heart of Macleod Village. We provide three and four-year-old kindergarten programs in a safe and secure environment where children can express themselves, celebrate diversity and enjoy kindergarten. Our program offers children the opportunity to grow and develop through play – the way children learn best. This is a rare opportunity to work full-time in a sessional kindergarten. On a Monday, Tuesday and Friday you in session and on a Wednesday and Thursday you will be off the floor entirely. This is a dynamic leadership opportunity where you will inspire and drive the educational program and practices through mentoring and providing professional development to Educators. Leading a team of 11, you will be responsible for creating a workplace with high standards that supports the operations of staff and compliance and supports the education of children. About the role You’ll build strong collaborative relationships with parents, families, educators and the local community to provide an inclusive and enriching play-based learning program for children. You’ll lead and support a team of educators by coaching to improve practice and values-driven behaviour. You’ll motivate and inspire positive learning culture. You'll create a supportive environment where children are safeguarded to learn and grow. You'll develop and implement engaging learning experiences based on the ECMS pedagogical framework. You’ll contribute to a child safe environment ensuring standards are met on a daily basis. Why ECMS?
