Due to a strong pipeline of work extending into 2026, we are seeking skilled and experienced structural steel boilermakers and first-class welders to join a busy team based in Currumbin on the southern Gold Coast. About the Role: The ideal candidates will have proven experience in the fabrication, installation, and repair of structural steel components across industries such as mining, construction, and infrastructure. Key Responsibilities: Interpret engineering drawings to fabricate, assemble, and install structural steel components Cut, drill, and shape steel using hand and power tools to specifications Weld steel components using GMAW, FCAW, and MMAW techniques Inspect, maintain, and repair structural steel components Operate cranes, hoists, and forklifts to move steel components Requirements: Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade (Boilermaker/Welder) Minimum 3 years' experience in structural steel and plate fabrication and welding Proficiency in GMAW, FCAW, MMAW welding techniques and positional welding Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings Ability to pass 1554.1 Welding Qualification Experience operating cranes, hoists, and forklifts Strong attention to detail and quality control Excellent communication and teamwork skills Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces Valid Australian driver's licence This is an excellent opportunity for motivated tradespeople looking for ongoing work with long-term prospects.
