Business Analysts Canberra, ACT (Hybrid – 3 days office / 2 days WFH) Contract: 12 months 2 x 12-month extensions NV1 Security Clearance required The department is looking for a few experienced ICT Business Analysts to join their Information Management & Technology Division. These roles will help deliver new and enhanced ICT projects that support critical policy and operational systems. What you’ll do Lead business engagement and requirements gathering across complex ICT environments. Develop artefacts including user stories, BPMN models, business process maps, and cost–benefit analyses. Work across multiple projects and teams to support departmental reform and ICT transformation. Facilitate workshops and Agile ceremonies, guiding stakeholders through the process. Collaborate with Agile/DevOps teams to deliver user-focused ICT solutions. What we’re looking for ✔️ 5 years’ experience as a Business Analyst in ICT/software delivery projects ✔️ Strong business engagement and communication skills ✔️ Experience across bespoke, off-the-shelf and cloud solutions ✔️ Agile/DevOps environment experience ✔️ Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Desirable: Data modelling, SFIA methods/tools, user experience analysis.
