The team works closely with leading builders, architects, and designers to deliver technically challenging joinery packages across greater Sydney. About the Role An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Senior Estimator to join the team on a full-time basis. This role offers a clear pathway to progress into a Head Estimator position and includes responsibility for mentoring and overseeing one other estimator. You'll be entrusted with managing tender submissions, preparing accurate cost estimates, and working closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery. Key Responsibilities Review architectural and shop drawings, specifications, and tender documentation to prepare accurate and competitive estimates Conduct detailed material take-offs across a variety of joinery elements and finishes Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to gather competitive pricing and stay updated on market rates Prepare comprehensive tender submissions, scopes of work, clarifications, and Bills of Quantities (BoQs) Identify any design or specification issues and suggest cost-effective solutions Attend site visits and pre-tender meetings as required Collaborate with project managers, drafting, and manufacturing teams to ensure alignment of estimates with buildability Manage and support one junior estimator Facilitate a smooth handover to the delivery team post-award Skills & Experience 5 years' experience in estimating within the commercial or architectural joinery industry Proficiency in reading and interpreting joinery/shop drawings and construction documentation Strong knowledge of materials, hardware, and construction techniques used in custom joinery Skilled in Excel and estimating software such as Buildsoft or similar Experience with Microvellum, AutoCAD, or other CAD-based tools is desirable High attention to detail and excellent numerical accuracy Strong communication and organisational skills Ability to manage workload and meet multiple tender deadlines Team-focused with leadership potential and mentoring ability What's on Offer Competitive salary package (based on experience) Clear career development path to Head Estimator Diverse and interesting projects across the commercial and medical sectors Supportive, collaborative work environment Full-time permanent position with long-term stability Convenient Liverpool area location with onsite parking Apply Now Click APPLY to submit your CV.
