Welder / Fitter Immediate start available Permanent position Day shift hours, early finish on Friday Innovative fabrication & installation Company Crestmead location QLD Company: Leading manufacturer of roller shutters, roller grilles, folding closures, stacking doors, steel roller shutters, counterweight doors & truck shutters. The company has been operating for over 50 years and offers a wide range of technical support. Your duties will include, but not be limited to: Perform high-quality MIG welding on mild steel materials Fabricate and weld complex components for a variety of custom projects such as roller doors and security doors and similar to ensure precision and adherence to specifications Machine maintenance such as fly wheel presses, roll formers and spiral tube welders with other fitting assemble type duties To be successful, you will need to: Qualified cert 3 Mechanical fitter or Boilermaker or have proven long term experience in engineering field. Proven machine maintenance experience is essential Have strong skills in MIG welding, fabrication, and problem-solving Have extensive experience mechanical fitting and using hand and power tools Hours and rate: Hours: 6am - 2:30pm Mon - Thur, 6am - 12pm Fri Pay rate: $36 - $37 per hour (Permanent) super O/T We request that candidates have full Australian working rights.
