To coordinate the Christmas Warehouse Program on behalf of the Community Services Stream. Being responsible for the collection of donated gifts, food products, volunteer rostering and management and the distribution of donated gifts through internal TSA programs as well as external organisations. Note that “Warehouse” for the North and North West refers to the logistical coordination of Christmas Cheer that takes place on the various Corps sites. Key Responsibilities: Provide support to the Doorways State Manager and TAS Secretary for Public Relations. Provide support to the Corps Officers directing the Christmas Cheer distribution across the various North and North West Corps sites. Provide support to the management of volunteer labour safely and effectively. Manage the receiving and distribution of gifts to Doorways sites, internal mission expressions and external agencies Volunteers are recruited, inducted and supervised in line with TSA Policy and Procedure A collaborative approach to service delivery and improvement is demonstrated within the team. Attend and participate in regular team meetings with State Manager and TAS Secretary for Public relations. Systems are implemented for clear communication and handover between staff, so that staff and volunteers have clear understanding of their roles and relevant procedures and are well-placed to contribute to the outcomes of the site. Information is retained to support end of year reporting. Reflective practices are implemented for the team and contribute to improved outcomes for clients. Teamwork is demonstrated in team and practice meetings. Success Criteria: Models and promotes teamwork and collaboration; fosters productive working relationships and team well-being. Volunteers recruited in line with TSA policy. Work competencies are monitored.
