Costa is Australia’s leading grower, packer and marketer of premium quality fresh fruit and vegetables. This role will involve working with fresh producers in a busy, fast-paced environment across multiple teams. Strong communication skills and forward planning are essential to ensure smooth operations. Successful candidates will be employed on a casual basis and rostered for regular shifts (5-day rotation, including weekends). For the right candidates, we can offer up to 6 months of employment. Tasks vary, but are not limited to: Safe and efficient forklift operation for transporting fresh produce Loading and unloading containers and trucks Conducting daily pre-start and equipment checks to identify maintenance needs Receiving and dispatching goods Picking and packing orders, including manual handling Working in refrigerated environments Assisting with other duties as required To be successful in this role, you will have: A valid Forklift license and up to 2 years of previous experience The ability to work well in a team, communicate clearly, and multitask An understanding of perishable goods handling, stock rotation, and FIFO principles The ability to follow instructions and adhere to safe work procedures The ability to remain calm and focused under pressure Physical fitness, including the ability to perform lifting and bending tasks regularly Commitment to work through to the end of the season What we offer: Full-Training provided for all tasks creating work flexibility and consistency.
