About the Role BGIS is seeking a capable and hands-on Maintenance Manager to oversee building operations and compliance for a major private hospital in Perth . You’ll ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient performance of all essential services, from HVAC and electrical systems to critical hospital infrastructure, while supporting a high-quality patient environment. A great opportunity for a capable maintenance professional to take ownership of essential services management within a nationally supported healthcare contract. Key Responsibilities Coordinate day-to-day maintenance activities and reactive repairs. Supervise and support contractors, ensuring safety, compliance, and efficiency. Oversee statutory testing, maintenance records, and asset performance. Manage BMS systems, infrastructure shutdowns, and maintenance scheduling. Contribute to sustainability and energy efficiency initiatives. Build strong working relationships with hospital teams and external partners. About You Essential: Broad experience in facilities or maintenance management within complex sites. Strong understanding of compliance, safety, and building services. Excellent communication and organisational skills. Confident in leading contractors and engaging with clients day-to-day. Desirable: Healthcare or critical environment experience. Trade qualification (Electrical, Mechanical, or HVAC). Knowledge of Building Management Systems (BMS). Experience with high-voltage or essential services operations.
