We pride ourselves on creating delicious baked goods for our community every day. About the Role We are seeking an experienced and motivated Baker to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and baking a wide variety of bread, pastries, and other bakery products in accordance with established recipes and production schedules. Key Responsibilities: • Prepare and bake doughs for breads, rolls, savoury twists, and sweet products according to company recipes and production schedules. • Accurately measure, weigh, and mix ingredients to achieve consistent product quality. • Operate bakery ovens, mixers, proofers, and other bakery machinery safely and efficiently. • Monitor baking times, temperatures, and product appearance to ensure optimal results. • Apply finishes such as glazing, icing, or toppings to sweet goods as required. • Inspect raw materials and finished products to maintain Bakers Delight quality standards. • Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety procedures at all times. • Maintain cleanliness of work areas, utensils, and equipment in accordance with HACCP and company policies. • Assist in stock rotation, ingredient storage, and ordering supplies as needed. • Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and improve processes. • Support the introduction of new products, seasonal items, and promotional ranges. • Uphold Bakers Delight’s commitment to freshness, consistency, and customer satisfaction.
