Network Engineer Initial contract until end of June 2026 with a view to extending Sydney CBD/hybrid $881 per day Tech stack: Cisco Meraki Fortinet (FortiGate) Firewall technologies particularly Fortinet and Cisco ASA firewalls HyperV, VMware SolarWinds (monitoring tool) Remote access VPN solutions and site to site VPN tunnels Supporting modern Wi-Fi infrastructure, VoIP environment and QoS Managing network monitoring tools such as Solarwinds NPM and the use of NetFlow Switching technologies (LACP, optics, POE) Extensive hands-on experience in network troubleshooting using iperf, curl, fiddler, wireshark and preferably Splunk as well Sound networking concepts of TPC/IP, VPN, routing and DNS Experience in supporting network with port security/network access control using Cisco ISE is preferable Understanding of Azure networking Tasks: Network devices and systems maintenance, patching, certificate renewal, support renewal and licenses renewal. Network monitoring, issue troubleshooting and network performance optimisation. Add/Update/remove firewall rules on FortiGate/Cisco ASA and Forepower. Participating in design, configuration, setup, monitor and support of LAN/WAN network status and network devices at various remote offices.
